Venture Club is

An organization of women who strive to enhance their community.

Venture's Purpose is

To serve the community. Venture Club provides money and volunteer service to Yolo County non-profit organizations who support women, children, and families. Each year, Venture Club adopts a slate for service projects, which are supported with members' time and with funds raised through projects.

Venture Club supports many local organizations such as Progress Ranch (a residental treatment home for boys), Yolo Family Service Agency, CASA, Y-Me and many more.

The Venture Club also awards an annual scholarship to assist a disabled student who wishes to pursue his or her education.

We also do a wide variety of fun and social activities!
 

Membership

Membership is open to any woman who wishes to serve her community with her time.

Commitments

As a member of the Venture Club of Davis, your commitments include:

Club Year

Attendance at business meetings held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Sutter Davis Hospital Meeting Room, 2000 Sutter Place in Davis.

Attendance at program meetings, held the 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m., locations announced at business meetings.

Committee meetings:  Every member serves on either the Service or Ways and Means Committee, as well as one or two other standing committees.

Club Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director) are elected annually in May.  Club Officers meet before the business meeting or at its discretion.

Annual Dues:  $40.00

One-time new member fee:  $16.00

New members joining between Jan 1 - June 1:  $30.00
